What does biosecurity or biological security mean? It could be defined as the application of a set of knowledge, techniques, equipment and preventive requirements that are used with the aim of guaranteeing the control of risk factors arising from the human handling of biological, physical or chemical agents, in order to prevent workers and environment from exposing themselves to potentially infectious agents or to biological risk agents.
The principles of biosecurity are:
• Universality, because any worker should be involved
• Use of barriers, in order to avoid direct exposure
• Removal of contaminated material
Bearing these principles in mind, through our division , we provide specialized consulting, logistics and training to workers, well as any kind of product related to biosecurity.
